Our family has owned Rowallan Pastoral Company for over 125 years. It is owned and operated by the Hayes family, Bill and Deirdre, daughter Sam and son Andrew.
Rowallan Pastoral Company is situated half way between West Wyalong and Narranderra on the Newell Highway near the Mirrool Creek hence the name Mirrool Creek Lamb.
At Rowallan Pastoral Company we specialise in cereal and oil cropping and lamb production. We produce prime lambs, which are best suited for producing premium lamb.
Mirrool Creek Lambs are paddock reared in genuine free-range paddock conditions and supplemented with our own grown barley and oats.
Until now Rowallan Pastoral Company has operated as a prime lamb producer and we have sold our lambs directly to the Wagga Wagga prime lamb market. The Wagga Wagga prime lamb market is one of the largest and most respected auction based lamb markets in the southern hemisphere. We have enjoyed topping this market on numerous occasions over recent years. Over the last twelve months Rowallan Pastoral Company topped this market several times and was always within the top four of some two hundred plus vendors.
Due to this success and the confidence in what we are producing we are now dedicated to managing the product throughout the entire progression from the paddock to you.
Mirrool Creek Lamb is processed and packaged by our local butcher who is professional, knowledgeable and committed to providing a premium product.
We believe that our product is of the finest quality available in Australia and we look forward to hearing about your experience with Mirrool Creek Lamb.
